The Churchill Interact Club  is truly living and breathing the Rotary 4-Way Test ! The club meets every Monday at 2:30 p.m. and continues to impress with its energy, organization, and commitment to service above self. The Rotary Clubs of Livonia, Livonia AM, and Garden City had a blast at our first Rotary Social event of the year at the Italian American Club of Livonia ! We celebrated Tammy Bonifield and Deanna Gaffney’s birthdays, and enjoyed fellowship, food, and bocce ball! Special thanks to Wayne Kinney for setting up the outing for all of us to enjoy!

Smiles abound and cheerful chatter filled the room as the members of the Stevenson High School Interact clubs gathered. Claude Kendrick and I attended the meeting in support of the group, which is just getting started in developing the club. Yara Hasan, the Co-Chair of the club welcomed us and explained that the meeting was set up to be a fun activity not a meeting to discuss official actions. Livonia AM Rotarians Tammy Bonifield, Dave Stechholz, and Bill Friske  joined in on the bitterly cold fun of the Livonia Merry & Bright Parade and Tree Lighting  this past Sunday. They were joined by Livonia Lion Matt Collins and three of our friends from the  Churchill HS Interact Club . Pictured next to Mayor Maureen Brosnan  is a little girl who won the special honor of riding with the Mayor and waving to the thousands of spectators lining the parade route.

The Annual Thanksgiving Breakfast held the Wednesday before Thanksgiving was full of hugs and greetings as the event welcomed, for the first time, former members and volunteers.  The festive event was held at George’s Senate Restaurant in Northville off Haggerty Road. Club Members' Last Meeting at the Senior Center A memorable day, our last meeting at the “old” Senior Center, and move, following the meeting, to the LSWC (Livonia Senior Wellness Center). With 19 members and guests in attendance and one Zoomer, for a total of 20. What was truly remarkable about our LAMR is that more than half of the group helped out with loading our stuff and moving it after the meeting to our storage area in the LSWC.
