Churchill High School's peace pole was discussed. This pole was installed by the school, and the garden around it needs some work as it's getting overgrown. It was suggested that the Interact club there could clean up the area.
Rotary Park Rebuild: Cherry blossom trees were planted on the road leading into the park on May 3rd with the help of AM and Noon Rotary Clubs, as well as the Kiwanis Club and several schools. Steve Alexander was the lead on this project. Wayne Kinney helped to get a videographer who recorded several people giving their thoughts and memories of Rotary Park. These vignettes will be used in the fundraising for the Park.

Giving Committee: Bill Friske reported that we approved $2,000 for the Schoolcraft College Foundation Janice Newsome Memorial Scholarships, and $1500 for Livonia Passport to Safety, to be used for pizza that day.
