Churchill HS Interact Club Living the 4-Way Test

Updated: 13 hours ago

The Churchill Interact Club is truly living and breathing the Rotary 4-Way Test! The club meets every Monday at 2:30 p.m. and continues to impress with its energy, organization, and commitment to service above self.

At this week’s meeting, approximately 25–30 motivated and eager students gathered to create flowers for DAV, jumping right into hands-on service. DAV stands for Disabled American Veterans.

Founded in 1920 and chartered by Congress in 1932, this nonprofit organization provides free support to over 1 million veterans annually, including assistance with VA benefits, transportation to medical appointments, and employment advocacy.

Club President Oviya led the group through her presentation slides and then introduced me to share information about RYLA. I spoke briefly about our current grant season, the projects we are preparing to undertake in the near future, and reminded the students that Rotary is always here to support them in their service efforts.

The students were so enthusiastic about getting started on their project that there were no questions just action. When we are invited, please make plans to attend that meeting. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the progress, leadership, and passion of the Churchill Interact Club.
